The Journey Here

Early in his career, our current shop owner, Jason Thomas, had the pleasure of working for North Davidson Automotive founder Frankie Messer. Unfortunately, Frankie passed away in late 2020. However, his legacy and the shop’s mission continued because Jason purchased the business from Mrs. Messer in 2021. Thus, the torch was passed from one family to another with perfect continuity because of the existing relationship. Since then, we’ve continued the original and ongoing pursuit of being the best automotive repair shop in the Triad area. Our team stands ready to assist you with preventive maintenance services, planned periodic repairs, check engine light diagnostics, new tires and services, and general or major repairs, including transmissions, suspension systems, electrical components, engines, differentials/4-wheel-drives, and cooling systems.

When you visit North Davidson Automotive, you’ll find perks, policies, and procedures that let you know we care about your auto services experience and personal convenience. We enjoy speaking with you face-to-face and are happy to give you a free local shuttle ride to your next destination. However, we understand if you can’t get here when we’re open. That’s why we provide concierge service for pick-up/delivery. Also, we take great care with our work. We never want a client to need to return because we’ve made a careless mistake, and we stand behind our repairs with a superior 12-month/12,000-mile warranty.
